What we collect
When you use one of our forms, we collect the details you choose to give us: usually your name, phone number and email address, and the information in your message. Job applicants may also send a CV and details of their experience and right to work. Home care enquiries may include some information about a person’s care needs.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange the service you asked about
- To consider your application for work, including pre-employment checks if you go ahead
- To keep a record of enquiries so we can follow up and improve our service
We use your information because you have asked us to respond (taking steps at your request before entering into a contract) and because we have a legitimate interest in keeping proper records. Where an enquiry includes information about someone’s health, we use it only to understand and plan their care, as allowed for health and social care purposes under data protection law.
Who sees it
Only our staff who need it to deal with your enquiry. We don’t sell your information or share it for marketing. Our website host and email provider store it on our behalf under contract.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries only for as long as we need them, in line with our records retention policy. If you become a client or member of staff, your information is then kept as part of your care or employment record.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Contact us using the details above. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
