How quickly can you send someone?

Call us as soon as you know about a gap. We’ll tell you straight away whether we can cover it, and confirm the worker’s name once the shift is booked.

Can we ask for the same staff again?

Yes. Tell us who worked well for you and we’ll offer them your shifts first. Familiar faces are better for residents and for your team.

What if a resident needs particular skills?

Tell us when you book, for example PEG feeding, catheter care or epilepsy rescue medicines. We’ll only send someone who is trained and signed off for that task.

How do rates and invoicing work?

We agree rates with you before your first booking and invoice for the hours worked. Get in touch and we’ll send you our terms.

About home care

Is your home care regulated?

Yes. Our home care service is registered with the Care Quality Commission. See quality and safety for more.

How soon can care start?

It depends on the support needed and our carers’ availability. We always visit to assess first. If someone is coming home from hospital, tell us the expected date so we can plan.

Will the same carers visit?

We aim to keep a small team of regular carers for each person, so faces stay familiar. We let you know in advance about any changes.

Can family be involved?

Yes, with the agreement of the person we support. Family can join the assessment, help shape the care plan and stay in touch with our office.

How is home care paid for?

Some people pay for their own care; others are funded by their local council, sometimes through a direct payment. We’ll explain how it works when we talk.

Working with us

Do I need care experience?

Not for every role. If you’re caring, reliable and willing to learn, we’ll train you. Nursing roles need a live NMC registration.

Can I choose my shifts?

Yes. Tell us when you can work and we’ll offer you shifts that fit.

What checks will you do?

An enhanced DBS check, right to work, identity and references. See our recruitment process.
